Hi, my name is Casey Stanford. This is my seventh year teaching at Gorman School. Initially, I began teaching in grades 3-5, but I am enjoying teaching grades 7th and 8th grade. They are a great bunch of kids! The 7th and 8th grade students represent the upper classmen and as so, my expectations are very high. I know each and every one of them will rise to the challenge.
I attended California State University, Bakersfield where I received my teaching credential and Bachelor's Degree. I then continued my education with Chapman University to complete my Clear Credential. In 2011, I completed my Master in Education, Reading and Mathematics degree with Walden University.
Ms. Stanford's Mission Statement:
It is my duty to provide a safe learning environment; encourage growth and success within every student; nurture a love for learning; teach with the same enthusiasm as if every day was my first day teaching; show each and every student that I care, so they are able to care about what I know; provide lessons that are engaging; and always remember that it is my honored responsibility to be fostering the leaders of our tomorrow.
Miss Casey Stanford
